For industrial applications in hazardous locations, the GO Switch 74 Series ATEX/IECEx Exd Certified models offer flameproof protection that meets ATEX Exd and IECEx certification requirements. These switches are designed for use in Zone 1 and Zone 21 environments where explosive atmospheres may be present under normal operating conditions.
Unlike mechanical limit switches, the 74 Series has no external moving parts, eliminating wear and reducing maintenance costs. This leverless design, combined with a one-piece 316 stainless steel housing, ensures long-term durability and reliability in extreme conditions.
With an operating range of -50°C to 105°C (-58°F to 221°F) and the ability to detect ferrous materials up to 2.5mm away, these switches are ideal for oil & gas, chemical processing, and hazardous industrial environments. Their SPDT Form C contacts allow for seamless integration into safety systems, ensuring compliance with strict safety regulations.
