Explosion Proof & Intrinsically Safe Proximity/Limit Switches
The 7G Series Proximity Switch features hermetically sealed chambers and Double Pole Double Throw (DPDT) contact arrangements to extend the robust capabilities of earlier models.This series improves operational reliability with its ability to sense ferrous materials like carbon steel up to 2.5mm away, and is built to withstand extreme environments with a 10,000 PSI (690 bar) rated enclosure.
Due to the hermetic sealing of contact chambers, the switch is able to operate under various conditions, including subsea applications, and is capable of operating at 204°C (400°F).
With its hardwired configurations and quick disconnect connectors, the 7G Series provides unmatched ease of installation and flexibility, making it ideal for a wide range of industrial applications.
The 7G Series is covered by the following hazardous area certifications.
